okay i know i keep talking about the Cake Saga but: i misread the recipe and thought i had to boil the butter/cocoa/water mixture for thirty minutes instead of thirty seconds

while i eventually discovered my mistake, i was fully prepared to stand there stirring a boiling pot for thirty minutes

also my parents like the cake

guess who’s baking a pastel rainbow tie-dye cake tomorrow (with white icing and red sprinkles), it’s me, i’m baking a cake tomorrow and it’s gonna be great

and since coming home i have been lying on the couch listening to 1d and tegan and sara and i’ve already eaten one ice cream sandwich, i guess i’m doing this traditionally
